In 1999 I lost my best friend to Breast Cancer. As I was leaving Opals one Sunday she told me to take this precious little girl home. Lady was extremely shy and we worked hard together to become best friends. Lady was the Alpha Pom at home. She didn't care if you were another Pom or a GSD, she was boss! In 2006 she was diagnosed with Cushings and diabetes. In the last years of her life she was only 3 lbs, losing her sight and having seizures. She died in my arms and is sorely missed everyday!
TRANSPORTATION OF POMS
I am currently an OTR Truck Driver, which allows me the opportunity to drive to all 48 of the United States. My company allows me to have the dogs on the truck with me and I've been able to transport Poms from many friends in differents States to others. My transportation fee is $150, all Poms must have their shots current and a copy of their health records and dog food. Senders/Receivers must be patient, as I have to request the runs to the location and sometimes it takes a while, as my company has to look for frieght.

My mom is a huge quilter, she has made a beautiful Pom wall hanging that was auctioned off at the Des Moines Pom Specialty a few years ago.
